In it are you, your friends and your classmates, the ones that have made the year that is past. In this year a multitude of events have transpired, parties. cam- paigns, ice skating, skiing, snow picnics, class organizations, basketball games, spring picnics, a lot of smiles and a few tears. All these mixed liberally with the regular routine of classes and work have formed a year to be remembered a long time. Sweet and refreshing will be the memories of stud- ents and teachers who have learned to blend sunshine and shadow, laughter and study, inspiration and achievement into an absorbing sequence of events. Worthy to recall and pleasant to re-tell will be the experiences of all who have learned to live, to take and give. We cannot escape making a record. We will be remembered in spite of ourselves. Significant or in- significant, time will spare no one. Each one is promised the power and bears the responsibility of true success. It is our decision to nobly gain or meanly lose our heritage. To attend Upper Columbia Acade- my is to become conscious of the fact that every member of the school family is a candidate for heavenly citizenship. This has been a good year at Upper Columbia Academy.
