World’s Fair Promotes Peace On Thursday, May IS. Upper Arlington played its part — small as it may have been — in promoting world-wide, or at least school-wide, peace. The auditorium lobby was miraculously transformed into a combined exhibition of all interested school dubs. A variety of school-sponsored special interest groups — including language clubs, exchange-student promoters, service organizations, hand} chefs, blossoming young artists, and cynics anonymous assembled their own booths, hoping to feed friends, fill club treasuries, and shed light on the school about their club’s activities and achievements. Several vocal groups and one very excellent folk-dance company exhibited many-faceted talents. Both pavilions and performances represented specific clubs and participating members Under the very organized leadership of Artie Leontis and other Leader’s Club members, representations were combined and unified into the 1975 World’s Fair Ncfcniti he's not' Steve Smurr sketching Pete Drake Dfligiysw I OUl'IL.
