It is a field of five acres to which have been odded a steel and brick structure, ospholt parking areos. tennis courts, boseball diomonds. practice fields, o track The muffled sounds of voices, the clotter of hurried steps, the clanging of bells con oil be heord. This is o high school, but there is one vital foctor that mokes this school unique, totally different from all the others. Thot one foctor is its people, people who are capable of solving the New Moth, cheering the team on whether in victory or defeot. or understanding the why's of today's complex world Upper Arlington High School is the name of this school. One has only to cross its thresholds m order to be swept into the life and movement that is so characteristic of our school. A decode ago there was only o newly completed shell of a building. It has taken people, reody ond eager to give of themselves, to make our school whot it is today. Ten years hove gone by since that first doss of 189 left to moke their mark on the world. The fact thot in a period of ten short years man's knowledge of himself ond his world has more than doubled is reflected in the oddition of such courses as Moth V, sociology, and oviation. With each passing year the number of students using our facilities hos increased to such on extent that enrollment is almost three times what it was when Upper Arlington High School first opened its doors.
