Socrates once said, The 'unexamined life is not worth living. Following Socrates' advice, we should look for all the meaning we can find in life. ' High school is one of the early places where a student can begin ex amining the meaning of his life. Our. school gives us the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities, both intellectual and social. There are clubs, after-schoOl activities, sports, spirit groups, and student government. In our high school years, we experience many emotions, as we strive to be number one, feel the panic of final exams, know the joy in victory, learn the painful lesson of tolerance in defeat. Through these ex- periences we can learn many important things and gain helpful insights into our lives.
