VICE-CHANCELLOR EMERITUS Dr. Finney, one of Sewanee ' s most devofed and loyal figures, was VIce-Chancellor of the University from 1922 to 1938. He has been a regent since 1913, and has also served as president of the Associated Alumni of the University of the South. A very learned man, Dr. Finney is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Gamma Mu, and Omicron Delta Kappa. He has generously and unselfishly devoted much of his time and services in working for the University and is In no small way responsible for Se- wanee ' s prominent position In education today.
