Dr. George Merrick Baker Dr. Baker ' s services to the university have been many, but perhaps the greatest of these is the broad understanding which he has built up between the students and faculty. It has been said of him that in handling student problems he has shown justice tempered with intelligence, which is after all, wisdom.
