Wi-Ls-Q liner, lllnnclmril, Cmlign l'lolYman, Sturmck Qnten, -J ' II 'The Interfraternity Council com- posed of president, with a representative from each fraternity and Dean Corson, has done much in the last year to foster a better spirit of good will and inter- house relationships. II Each year the Interfraternity Coun- cil makes the rules and regulations in regard to rushing. They start rushing with the annual Interfraternity dance. In the fall semester the members of the council held their dance in the school gymnasium and each house contributed to the decorations. II Following the dance they decided to put into effect a plan whereby each new student had to be on the campus a year m'? Vw... LW before he was eligible to pledge a frater- nity. This new idea was not as suc- cessful as was expected and has been abolished. The Interfraternity Council thought it wise to limit the number of dates each house could have for rushing purposes. This new plan turned out to be quite successful and was adopted as a permanent rushing procedure. If Another important achievement of this group was the voting into member- ship one more member of each group represented. II The members of the council elected Norman Hoffman to take over the duties as president, and to be the head of all rushing activities. I X X .
