517+ I. it . lu., x 'ear g If Appointed president of the College of The Pacific with the support of the Edward Bannister Foundation, Dr. Tully Cleon Knoles has served in that capacity since l9l9. ll Besides his executive work, Presi- dent Knoles presents World Today, required class for a lecture course de- voted to current international problems and serving a dual purpose, broadcast over a radio hookup at the same time it is presented before the class in attend- ance in the auditorium. 11:1 rr ll Formerly principal of the acad- emy, prep school abandoned by the college some years ago, Charles E. Cor- bin has acted in the capacity of regis- trar of the College since 1914. He is chairman of the division of mathe- matics and engineering and professor of mathematics. Graduated from Doane College in 1904 with an A. B. degree, and was awarded an A. M. by North- western in 19117. I1 As dean of men of the College of The Pacihc, james Hunt Corson guides the college careers of several hundred students, besides directing the orienta- tion of 'freshman students attending this institution. Corson il His ehiorts were responsible for the organization of the Student Employ- ment Bureau, which has been of mate- rial benetit to many students since its establishment in the fall of 1936. GI A graduate of the University of Cali- fornia in the class of 1904, Dean Barr continued her studies and was awarded the M. A. degree in 1906. She became affiliated with the College of the Pacihc in 1910 and has served as a member of its faculty ever since.
