•mil fhcxogr jpnc ' Swff Fhofographei What It Takes . . . To Be Greek What does it take to be Greek? Well, first one must go through Rush. Formal Sorority Rush is held in the fall of each year. Each soror- ity holds mini-parties during which they get to know the rushees and the rushees get a taste of the differ- ent sororities. Finally, they are matched with a sorority and they go through a pledge period where they learn about security, history, and rituals. After a timely pledge period, they are initiated and be- come active members of their so- rority. Pledging and rushing for Fraterni- tys is handled a little differently. They set up booths individually to attract members. Anyone can rush because it ' s open to everyone. If you enjoy having fun, building long- lasting, meaningful relationships and friendships, and like making a difference in the lives of others, you have Greek potential. on LtmdMi Row I: Scou SUMCh.
