The University Student Senate Of the Stout Student Association The University Student Senate of the Stout Student Association (USS-SSA) is the official governing body of the Stout student population. The USS-SSA appoints students to various Uni- versity Governance Committees through the di- rectives of State Statute 36.09(5). In addition, the USS-SSA allocates approximately $250,000 of student activity fees to campus organizations which positively impact a great many people. The University Dance Club The University Dance Club, in its second year in existence, was started by Kaleen Kenning who is now the President. This photograph in- cludes the executive board and the club ' s Par- ent ' s Weekend Committee. The University Dance Club consists of beginners to the most ad- vanced dancers of ballet, tap, jazz, ballroom, so- cial, and ethnic dance. The club holds technique classes, performs, and goes to see performances. Two of this year ' s big events were Dance Con- vention ' 86 in the fall and the club ' s perform- ance Start Spreading the News during Parents Weekend. Peer Ministry The Peer Ministry program trains and encour- ages students and faculty to be sensitive servants within this University Community.
