A View From Within Each of us, with our own unique perception, express our view in a different light. Stout definitely pro- vides a wealth of opportunity for expression, and 1985 and 1986 were no exception. The education and relationship formed this year were a basis for our individual creativity. Sporting events, student center enter- tainment, house parties and games at the recreation center were among those activities which have given us the chance to express our individuali- ty. Stout weekends, starting on Thurs- day, provide a lot of time for social growth. Activities like Homecoming Week only proved to expand our expressions. Diversity could be seen throughout the campus at any time. The car we drove, our style of dress, an off-beat hairdo, our course of study, different languages, a variety of opinions, and notable actions all contributed to the uniqueness of each individual. Stout became a melting pot. As each of us moved away from home, we brought with us certain views and expressions. During this year we test- ed some of our ideas. We tried new things, expanded our experiences, and developed new philosophies. We flaunted our identity. In the process of creating our new uniqueness, our views meshed with that of our peers, thus creating views from within Stout, as well as a view from each of us as individuals. When we leave Stout we will take with us a part of our peers and part of Stout. With Stout we will leave some of our views — a part of us. 10 Opening
