DEAN Uf MEN Retirement of genial Dr. Herbert B. Maw as Dean of Men, and appointment of John L. Ballif to succeed him is announced at the close of an active year for the office. Through the cooperation of the oflices of the Dean of Men and Dean of Wome.n, a system of regulation for social functions has been instituted, eliminating conflicts and contributing to finer entertainment on the campus. ALUMNI PRESIDENT Justice David W. Moffat leads an organ- ization which seeks to maintain alumni in- terest in Utahls activities to the mutual ad- vantage of the school and its graduates. The homecoming celebration, a reception for the senior class, and the publication of the MUtal1 Alumnus are major projects of the organization.
