JAMES D. HOSKINS President E meritus The student years spent at the University of Tennessee are among the most significant in the lives of individuals who have attended the University. As students become alumni and the years roll by, the mem- ories of student associations become more vivid and precious. The VOLUNTEER pictures the yearTs activities and the men and women who contributed to the distinguished history of the University during the year. The 1954-1955 school year has been a year of continued progress for the University. Among events that have distinguished the year has been the opening of the Carolyn P. Brown Memorial University Center for student and faculty activities.
