Seniors become active mem- bers of the Association for a two-year period following graduation, after which time they are given an oppor- tunity to contribute to the annual Alumni Fund Drive and retain their active status. Members receive all alumni publications, and through continued participa- tion in Alumni functions keep alive llThe Spirit of the Hill.u OBJECTIVES OF THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION 1. To aid the University in securing adequate support for the full development of the institution. 2. To bring to Tennessee the best men and women now enrolled in the secondary schools of the state. 3. To maintain accurate biographical records of Alum- ni and recognize them for their achievements. 4. To assist in securing such publicity as will increase the prestige of the University. Ln To promote further growth of the Personnel Bureau. The Bureau of Personnel Service was established by the University for the purpose of assisting in the place- ment of Alumni and Seniors.
