' . m UPS da CRlIC grow L 1 ' . J-oreword We are the first students to attend classes in these new buildings and the first to initiate new traditions. This new campus and the modern facilities which we now enjoy were once only a dream. Now, through the efforts of many interested persons, our dream has become a reality. However, we must realize that this is only a beginning and Asheville-Biltmore will continue to progress long after we have departed. We must therefore endeavor to attain greater heights and meet any chal- lenge with vigor and pride while the opportunity presents itself. We the staff of THE SUMMIT of 1962, in order to express our appreciation and admiration for the new Asheville-Bilt- more, have chosen as our theme, OUR NEW CAMPUS. They both rang loud and clear through many games, help- ing the cheerleaders but sometimes disturbing the visiting basketball team. The cheerleaders worked hard and en- joyed an exciting basketball season this year. Win or lose, they were there to sup- port the team. They conducted pep rallys, arranged bus trips and held a bon fire, to try to encourage school spirit.
