It offers instruction in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and the four major branches of engineering: Chemical, Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical. Some of the departments offer graduate work leading to the Master's Degree. Also in the College of Technology is the Engineering Experiment Station, a research agency set up to aid New Hampshire industry. The enrollment in the College of Technology is relatively small, about five hundred and six. The space required is relatively large due to the many laboratories needed for instructional purposes. The cost of conducting an engineering program is considerable, as is the student effort to acquire an engineering education.
