He is a graduate of Ohio State University in 1900 and later worked as Assistant in the U. S. Department of Agriculture. He is a member of the American Association for Advancement of Seienceg American Associa- tion of Agronomy: National Geographical Society: Farm Management Association. He is a member of the Alpha Zeta fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, Sigma Xi fraternity and the Alpha Tau Alpha fraternity. U The New Hampshire College of Agriculture aims to give a general education and at the same time a scientific training to its students in the various phases of commercial agriculture. It also aims to fit young men for positions of responsibility as research workers, extension service lT'l0l'l and as teachers of agriculture.
