' Miss Mills, who came here in 1938, works also with national campus organizations. She has been appointed National Advisor of the Associated 1 Women's Students by the National Deans, Asso- F F ciation. V 1 Coming here as a director of Physical Educa- tion, Dean Hindman took over the Student Affairs for Men in 1940,in addition to his other position. Last fall he gave up his physical education work in order to devote his entire time to student affairs. During this time he has seen the University change from peacetime to wartime and then adjust. itsell' back to peaceful days again. President Bliddlebush has worked tirelessly to insure a liner school along with the increased enrollment in the post war period. He has done lunch to aid the Nvorld lVa1' ll veterans in their college adjustment. A graduate of the University of Michigan, President Xliddlebush was Dean of the School of Business and Public Administration from l926 until l935. Special arrangements for fellowship and for study facilities are made to those students who continue on in graduate work. Each grad has his own study cubicle in the main library, with direct access to the stacks. In 1892 a Woman student received the first degree from the Graduate School of the University. Henry E.
