This is an event to which everyone is looking forward. The Junior Class has made an enviable record. It succeeded in earning enough points to be declared the winner in the field meet, and also won first place at the Homecoming pep meeting. As a group, they have proved to be a wide-awake class, having taken an active part in many school activities. They defeated the juniors in the annual football game, but were forced to accept defeat at the hands of the j uniors in the field meet. The basketball team, which is coached by Mr. Pederson, will compete in the class tournament which will be held in the spring. The ranks of the class were aug- mented after Christmas by twenty students who en- rolled in school for the second semester.
