Murphy, J. Taffe, R. Kent. OIVA SIIRA Junior Captain The great event of the year is the clash between the Freshman and Junior Football Teams. The entire student body and all of the faculty members turn out on this occasion. This year the game was played on November 7. It started out with the freshmen kicking off to the juniors, who ran the ball back to the 50-yard line. The yearlings were set on winning the game. They hammered the junior line for three consecutive first downs. Then they worked a reverse which baffied the juniors who let the freshmen run unmolested for a touchdown. The freshmen also made their extra point, making the score 7-0. This acted as an incentive for the juniors, who proceeded to get the ball to the freshman l1-yard line, but lost the ball on downs. The freshmen kicked to the 40-yard line, out of dan- ger. Then the juniors against lost the ball on downs. At that point the whistle sounded, end- ing the first half.
