BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION The school ' s main aim is to give students basic training for business vocations. This is accomplished in the fields of General Business, Accounting, Industrial Administration, and Marketing. The General Business program offers training in business administration and in the social sciences. Advanced, specialized training in financial management is pro- vided in the Accounting Division. Students majoring in this field can qualify as auditors, comptrollers, income-tax consultants, etc. Stu- dents in Industrial Administration acquire a background for the under- standing of business enterprise, its problems and relations. The remaining curriculum in Business Administration, Marketing, prepares one for selling and advertising.

The School of Engineering offers courses in Agricultural Engineering, Light Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineer- ing, and Chemical Engineering. The curricula offered by the school is carefully laid out to give the student a sound training in the funda- mentals of the various branches of his chosen field, while giving him, at the same time, intensive training in mathematics and science, the important tools of the engineer. The new engineering building, Gunness Laboratory, was finally completed and occupied at the beginning of the school year, thus alleviating considerably the crowded classroom situation and making available more technical equipment.
