Fink of Columbia University, whose sub- ject was Electrochemistry: Its Application in Art ; Dr. Alfred Sturtevant of California Institute of Technology who spoke on The Evolution and Function of Genes ; and Dr. Selden D. Bacon of Yale University, whose subject was Problems of Alcoholism. The fourth speaker of the year was Dr. C. B. Rossby of the United States Weather Bureau, who spoke on Meteorology.
