The answer to the question, speaking generally, is quite simple; however, speaking specifically, it can be somewhat difficult. The 13- College Curriculum Program is a creative approach to the teaching and learning processes with a focus on stimulating through and provoking innovations in the general education course offerings. THE EDITOR SPEAKS At 1-a-s-t we have completed this edition of The 1972 Hajivaie . This book i s the product of much of our time, effort, and talent. It also shows many hours of generously volunteered work by the staff and extra special care by our publishers. The Staff has undertaken this task of producing a yearbook with a cheerfulness and dedication that is seldom credited to our generation. Their efforts are largely unsung until the day that this book arrives, yet their work comprises the only permanent record of this year and will remain a tribute to their efforts. During this past year, the Hajivaie staff has been aided bs numerous interested individuals. First, Mrs. Dorothy Waters, our advisor, whose unflagging interest has been most appreciated, as were the IBM lists used by our staff that were provided by Mr. Samual Hutchins. Second, We would like to thank the members at Inter-Collegiate Press for being so patient and for producing our late edition of the Yearbook. Third, We would like to thank Mr. Thomas Wiles for the wonderful work that he did on takmg the pictures for the book. In the line of student help, we would like to gi e thanks to the New members who joined the staff and special thanks to a few of the old ones who did more than their share, these people are Rose Hodge. Mary Anne Holland, Gwen Parker and Velma Layton. Miss Hajivaie Ernestine Hawkins is to be commended for her diligent attention to our yearbook and personal efforts that she put in the completion of the yearbook. Last but not least, we would like to thank Mr. Dowery, Dean of Student Affairs, whose patience with the Editor ' s numerous requests for impossible pictures has been remarkable and whose unending willingness to carry, lift, pick up, advise, and generally offer moral support to the Editor and the entire staff has helped the book to become a reality. To all of those who have had a part in the production of the 1972 Hajivaie i would like to express m appreciation not only for their hard and efficient work but also for their loyalty and the generous gift of their spare time . It has been a pleasure to work with all of them. Look closely at our past, then go with us into the future, realizing as we do that gone are the yesterdays but the sun dawns on a new loniorrow.
