3. arewe Myron S. Aisenberg 3 60.14, 1953-1963 Mirabile visu! What a transformation — for 1 remember addressing you on Freshman Orien- tation Day. You then appeared as frightened undergrads. Now, you have acquired poise, dig- nity, and stature. Throughout your four years here, you have labored long and hard. This is the process of molding you into a finished product so that you may take your rightful place as a member of one of the health professions. Your curriculum was lengthy and full. Yet. when comparing your education with that of 41 years ago, we note that tremendous changes have occurred: new discoveries, new materials, new techniques, new equipment, high speeds, the anti- biotics, and the st ressing of basic sciences and research. You are fortunate to have been edu- cated in this rapidly changing era. It is always hazardous to predict the future — and I remind you to be prepared. For you are now enrolled in a life-long school to continue keeping pace with the new. Do not let your- selves sink into obsolescence. Being prepared means a brilliant future. You are my last graduating class. It was a pleasure to have known you. My heartiest con- gratulations and blessings to all of you. M. S. We grew to love and respect him for his impartiality, integrity, friendliness, and warm interest in each student. The devotion which he manifests toward his work, to the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, and to the student is truly admirable.
