OFFICERS President Alan Dworkin Vice-President James Green Treasurer James Schiff Secretary Jurate Palubis Historian Raoul Vanden Bosche Sergeant-ai-An is James Casey Class Representatives Thomas Conaty Jack Neal he resk men On the dreary and wet morning of September 17, 1962, ninety-nine men and a young lady assembled to hear about the oldest dental school in the world. We were to be the last freshman class to be greeted by Dean Aisenberg before his retirement. After the first Anatomy exam, everything began to settle into its proper place. We found that several new experiments were being tried on our class. During the first semester, our only Anatomy lectures were in lab, and we had two extra hours on Friday afternoon to get to know our cadaver better. A memorable way to get acquainted with the other members of our class was our highly successful class party before Thanksgiving. Just when we were really beginning to enjoy ourselves, February brought more eight o ' clock classes and five o ' clock labs, and a greater amount of midnight oil-burning for an unceasing strmg of exams. But February also brought fraternity rushing, and a substantial number of our class joined one of the Greek letter groups. Then came spring and Neuro; and finally the last exam in June prior to a much needed rest. As we look back we remember — an article about our class secretary in the Suiipapevs; How can I spend six hours doing what Dr. Ramsey did in fifteen minutes? ; the protein lectures and exam; I think that the labio-lingual diameter is about 0.3 mm off ; The free surfaces of the body are covered by cpicclial tissue ; Follow your dissector and clean it up a little better ; and Dr. Seipp ' s hundred-minute lectures in fifty minutes. iu ' r
