Turned down by the Juniors, who ordi- narily publish it. it was carried along and made possible by the Seniors, the extraordinary class which strove to maintain every custom, every usage, of the College. And so this year, as in past years. The Mirror will reflect the doings of the past term ; will perhaps exag- gerate incidents of the year we passed here. But in years gone by, when this book will be opened by those whose names and falls are here inscribed, there will be intermingled with the humor a touch of tender affec- tion for the subjects caricatured ; there will be aroused in each one ' s mind tender memories of the days we have spent here. And if it but accomplishes that pur- pose. The Mirror feels that it has not been produced in vain ; that it has well deserved the toil and the strife which was necessary to make possible The Mirror.
