OCTOBER First Snow 10 9 79 It's SNOWING!!! Everyone was a little amazed at the early snow and wondered if it was a sign of a hard winter. Suddenly there were thoughts of anti-freeze and snow tires. But all in all it was a surprisingly mild winter with less than 25 inches total snowfall. However there was a lot of rain instead which meant a lot of ice and broken bones and sore butts.
