In the bright brief •• flare of autumn alums reminisce, students relox and all kinds of spirits run high No one reolly seems to fire up why bother, prelims coming up. . but the Brothers Four concert sells out in less than a day and a half even if they hove been here before. Two other scheduled groups backed out so it is the Brothers Four or nothing. Bonfire, a torch-lit witch hunt, rally and skits get support, and bleary-eyed students are up all night building mountains of wood, paper moche and chicken wire to put on a good show for returning olumni. The first of the 'big weekends,' Homecoming, according to the Moine Campus, is the break before the novelty wears off and the disillusionment sets in.

Homecoming Queen, Zoa Hawes, stands blond and smiling in the wind, while the ROTC Rangers stage a controversial half-time show to the Ballad of the Green Berets.
