Tom Sturgeon and Alice Pleiss take time out to offer mutual congratulations. Thoroughbred Dance One of the highlights of each school year is the Thoroughbred Dance, which is sponsored by the yearbook staff. At this time, the winners of the Mr. and Miss Thoroughbred contests are an- nounced. Mr. Thoroughbred is chosen by popular vote of the women students, whereas Miss Thoroughbred is selected on the basis of a picture submitted to John Robert Powers Modeling Agency in New York. The 1963 dance was held at the Henry Clay Hotel complete with the sounds of Dr. Feelgood and the Interns. The smiles, trophies, and flowers of the winners.
