DEDICATIO To Dr. George Brodschi, a leader in international affairs, a guide to students, -and a promoter of peace in the world, we, the editors, dedicate this 1957 Thoroughbred, Dr. Brodschi, born in Rumania, graduated from the University of Bucharest with the degree of Doc- tor of Economics and Political Sciences. During World War II he joined the famous British Political Warfare Department, and later became a member of the British Colonial Service. In February, 1948, he came to Louisville and became an American citi- zen. He is best known for directing the exchange of students, some two hundred students have gone to Europe through his Summer Work Exchange Pro- gram, nineteen University students have been granted scholarships and grants to study abroad through his influence. Not only have University of Louisville students benefited from his program, but two hun- dred and fifty students from other lands have come to our halls of learning, and afterwards have returned to their native lands with a renewed desire for world peace and understanding. As Director of the International Center, Dr. Brodschi has co-ordinated local industries in this Summer Work Exchange Program-thus rendering his service not only to the University and its students, but to all Louisville as well. He is a man who speaks many languages, who un- derstands many peoples, and a man whose faith in God has found an active service to render unto all men. His honors and citations from many nations are without number, each has been justly earned. With gratitude and respect we, the students of the Uni- versity of Louisville, add this dedication to his many other honors.
