IN SEPTEMBER, When the lengthening shadows stole across the campus, new fresh- men arrived with anxious laughter While tired seniors worried about the forthcoming graduation. Again, that golden air of ex- pectancy pervaded the University of Louis- ville as another school year began. Sweaters, skirts and the crackling of autumn leaves beneath scuffed strollers marked this beginning as the familiar registration lines formed. Some students have passed, some have failed, but all students have registered! Thick books foretelling long hours of study- ing were purchased and then to class where everyone vied for the seat in the back row, moaned over the preview of the semesterts assignments, and soon realized that come rain or come shine the next few months had been well planned out.
