But against C.M.C. luck joined the forces (10-0) and tried joining the team against Cal Luthern (6-6), who is the number one small college team in the nation. Probably the highlight of the season for the spectator was during the Cal Luthern game when Ort tried using a 1926 free kick ruling which was determined illegal by the officials. (By the way it is legal in high school and pro ball.)
