F f v-,Wff - ,wif- it There were three main reasons why we chose to dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Butler. First of all, he is a great teacher. His way of describing rather than lecturing got the whole class involved in the subject matter. He taught us games: we were Mesopotamian kings as subs and feudal lords when freshmen. Secondly, he really helped us through our years at Uni. He was our class sponsor for several years and took us on exciting and enlightening field trips. He also was - and is - a terrific chess club sponsor. The last reason is that he is a wonderful guy and a dedicated teacher. Whether visiting the gift shop in a Chicago museum or discussing the geopolitics of Medieval Europe, time spent with Mr. Butler is neither a bore nor a waste. Thank you Mr. Butler, for all you've been and done. 5
