A great crowd showed up, with a good mix from all classes. During the dance, the band members got tired of singing and let Aleya Rahman and Shagg Makino take over. They were too shy, so Joel Crames and Rachel Peters serenaded each other. A good time was had by all. 21

CHRISTMAS PARTY The Annual Surprise Christmas Party was surprisingly fun this year! The Madrigals carolled the classes through tyhr halls and to the gym, where the party began. The Seniors gave their teachers Christmas presents, which in- cluded a whip for Mrs. Wheeler, a big kiss for our new Consumer Law pro- fessor, and a party for out most en- thusiastic teacher, Pat. Dr. Purves read a different Christmas story! The teachers, skits were as cute as ever, and Mr. Butler played a convincing San- ta. The English department played rebellious rock 'N' rollers, and Mr. Royer and Mr. McColIom wound up with pies in their faces. HO HO HO. Madrigals perform at the gym 20

Pep Rally The cheerleaders raised school spirit throughout the year with pep rallies. Any unspirited cheerleader was im- mediately sent to the infamous SPIRIT BOX.
