Landscaping ond minimal construction work has rronsformed rhe o'eo inro o wonderful outdoor study area Londscopng was also completed this year around rhe new. WdSam T. Community service is a mqor parr of Richard's Sfe becouse of his deep concern for others. He choired rhe Befle Bonffc Blood Drive on compus during rhe Spring and Foil quarters of 1964 which yielded 002 pints of blood for rhe communiry. Richard volunteered to read for rhe bind ond has done so with DU’s own eroded Persons Resource Center. Finally. Richard has served as o volunteer for both rhe Speool Olympics Bowtorhon ond rhe Denver Chttren's Home. Acodemicaly, his awards include rhe University of Denver Honors Scholarship, Hornbeck Scholar oword. Who's Who in American Coleges and Universities. Ouryondng Spur Award ond Outstanding Junor for his fraternity Michelle Dnono has oenvety become involved in rhe University end ocheved a sense of defection. Her orritude has been her drive to get involved with such campus groups as Alpha Lombda Deiro.. Oarion. Geneva Glen, Winter Carnival, various student odvisory committees to rhe •Choncelor. and other academic honorories.
