Commerce Commiffion The Commerce Commission is the downtown brother to the Campus Commission but it has its own little family to handle. At meetings they discuss the student complaints, suggestions and ob- servations. During the past year pats on the back were the rule for this student organization for their enthusiastic program aim- ing to better school spirit on the Civic Center Campus. A committee of eight, composed of the Engineering School officers, class presidents and the Arts and Sciences president, it showed promise of becoming one of the top campus governing bodies. Thanks to the planning and co- ordinating of the Commission, the Engineers chalked up a success- ful Carnival and Engineers' Ball. 25

While regulating the activities of the ' College of Arts and Sciences, the Campus Commission strives to promote cooperation between the student body and the adminis- tration. Those assemblies and dances are not impromptu affairs-there's a carefully laid plan behind each of them.
