Misti FRANCIS CURRIE THE GOOD ANGEL OF THE MEDICAL SCHOOL It was Dre Sattler who spoke of Miss Francis Currie, for many years librarian of the Medical Follege, as the 00d angel of the school and an assembled class echoed his words. Miss Furrip wart with 11!? College long before its affiliation with the University 0i Cincinnati. She was librarian in those dark days before the new building on Eden Avenue was built and students who haul classes in the old building on Clifton Avenue know that the dark and forbidding aspect of the place was altogether removed by the sunshine of Miss C'urrie's presence. Even in those days the library was a cheerful place and the brightest room in the building. A long list of men now distinguished in the profession and many now professors and in- structors in the College they attended as students are proud to be known as very dear friends 01' Miss Currie. They are l'het' boys still, just as they wen: when they asked her to find books or when they worried over exhausting examinations in her lihrary. Miss Currie, as everyone knows. is much more than the librarian 0f the College. She is the great exponent of that spirit of helpfulness and courtesy which is a mark of the Medical CalieKEelhe pride of the old students and the delight of lhe new. All the things Miss Currie has done ior the comfort of the students and the furthering of their interests: all the battles sht- llus wurl fur them in her quiet way will never lJU knuwn. The lmurs she has freely given after a Clay's work searching inr convenient WIHITIE for new students, with only their best interests at lluztrt, are recorded in the gratitude of the men. it is impossible to think of the Medical College without thinking of Miss Currie, and mum uhu leave it will ever fnrget its. i'goml angel Xf ex i -k j, i MISS ANNA LUCILIF.
