MUSIC GREATS TO UC Rudolf Bing, General Manager of the Metropolitan Opera, pauses to talk with Mr. Ralph Corbett lriglztl and Graduate Dean Campbell Crockett lleftl. In the second year of its three year run, the remarkable Corbett Lecture Series has continued to bring praise to UC, as well as stature and prestige to her newest unit, the College Conservatory of Music. The free public lectures have consistently presented outstanding men and women from the world of music to standing- room-only audiences in Wilson Auditorium. None other than UC's famous Mummers Guild, which carried ol? this imaginative bit of planning in their first hit of the year, 'The Boyfriend? Playgoers found themselves gently rocking to and fro aboard the Rhododendron, moored at the Cin- cinnati public landing, to watch this spoof of the Roaring Twenties, in- stead of in their accustomed seats at Wilson Auditorium. For their second production of the year, the Mummers chose a rollicking satire on the morals and manners of seventeenth century England, School for Scandal.
