EXPANDS TO AN ENTIRE WEEK Freshmen busily copy required texts for courses from Bookstore bulletin board. ' fRightj Air Force recruiters enlist frosh for ROTC. Upperclassmen returning to UC in late September were somewhat startled to find the campus taken over by the Class of '67, At last the proposed quarter system had become reality at the University of Cin- cinnati, and freshmen were participating in a full week of orientation activities before classes for the fall quarter were scheduled to begin.

RAGTIME REVISITED: MAX MORATH Moratlfs presentation of a by-gone em captivates his collegiate audience. One of Americais most outstanding ragtime pianists, Max Morath, visited the campus for a popular Union sponsored concert in November. The Union's ex- tensive publicity campaign proved successful, as Mo- rath took a sell-out audience through a delightful sur- vey of ragtime years, illustrated with a slide presen- tation and highlighted with Morath's own sentimental brand of modern humor and satire.
