IN THE BEGINNING: TIRED FEET AND CRAIVIPED HANDS Registration is that unavoidable necessity for the collegian. None escapes its demands. Although registration proceedures are constantly being re- vised for smoother operation, they have not elimi- nated the packets of multitudinous IBM cards that require ID numbers, addresses, class schedules, etc., nor have the long lines to the advisers, co- ordinators, packet checkers, and cashiers been done away With. While the upperclassmen register in the fall, the freshmen sit through endless convocations and confer with Well-meaning people who orientate them in all phases of university life. Registration confusion increases as co-ordinator checks cards. Hoping that their packets are in order, students stop at Pink Room. Lines, lines, lines 1 Finally . . . thetunavoiclable cashier. Convocations in Wilson Auditorium attempt to orientate the incoming students.
