Afhliated with UC in 195 I, the oldest Pharmacy College west of the Allegheny mountains, founded in 1850, now uccupies a beautiful new building 011 the University campus. The College combines professional training and a liberal education. Students are required to wurk at least one year in a drugstore before graduation and seniors are given the opportunity to work in a hospital. Pharmacy students, wearing their white jacketsh study such subjects as pharmacology chemistry, physics, and diseases as well as d rugsture accounting, and pharmacy jurisprudence.

Seventy years agu on january I, 1889, the Cincinnati Training School for Nurses was established. In November 1916, it was reorganized to its present status as the College of Nursing and Health.
