ml am a I r JXLJHL II-l ' CAMPUS panorama. taken from +ower. depicfs a great universHy in rela+ion +0 ifs city. where it all began . . . Our world apart ..... Cincinnati ..... where many things began and some ended. N 0t all stayed, but for those who did, Cincinnati had its effect. Its attitude is knowing conservatism, not quite apathy. Though Often accused, the student was not without spirit, nor did he lack dedication. A year became a hectic thingenever being quite llcaught upll and, for some, a job every seven weeks. Though classes were the time consumers, there was always Something Else to do: Homecoming, exam week, Mummerls plays, and Shiplsaa search for a clplacell ends for everyone and everything seems to fit. The wild cheering, the dejection, rain, a smile, the flu, a snowball in the back, sleepless nights, the meetings, and the gamesathey all played a part. Sometimes, not too often, the student looked around and up at McMieken tower; he didn,t see it all ..... it was too big for that ..... but maybe he felt it. BEARCATS are given anfi-liH'er warning in the form of a familiar campus landmark.
