THE UNION . . . THE llUB OF UNIVERSITY The Student Union Building is always busy early in the morning until late at night. with students eating. playing cards or relaxing. attending meetings. or meeting friends, and on weekends with t t movies and dances. The Old Tech Building , t which faces it is the home of the guoIogy majors t and of many cases of rocks and fossils. Equipment :- T for weather prediction is also housed here. Between these two is the always locked Tanners Research Building where graduate students and Others Spend their time in researfhv The lawn between these make: an excellent place for relaxing in the spring. The Applied Arts students are proud of their new Alms Building with which none of the architecture students can fmd any fault. With the new bond issue. passed last fall. they are looking forward to the wings to be added to their building in the near future so that they can hold all of their classes there. It is often said that the classes held in thc PhysiCS Building I are the most difiicult and the hardest to understand on campus. Problems and experiments carried on here may well be the basis of future discoveries. t APPLIED ARTS STUDENTS HOLD EXHIBITS AND CLASSES IN THE ALMS BUILDING LABS IN THE PHYSICS BUILDING ARE ALWAYS FILLED WITH HARD WORKING STUDENTS Page HI
