THE LIBRARY OFFERS THE RECORD Sooner or later. everyone finds his way to i the library. and most end up there : many times each year and for many hours at a l time. For history and English majors. this building : becomes a second home. and many others find it an excellent place for study or for ' relaxation with a novel or one of the latest magazines. But the library is mainly filled with THE UNIVERSITY OFFICIALS HAVE those who are writing term papers or THEIR OFFICES IN THE . working on some research projett. The main ADMINISTRATION BUILDING library has many separate departments devoted ' to different fields, in addition to branch libraries in buildings all over the campus. .I, The Van Wurmer Library Building, better 4 known as the Administration Building is one I with which all students become familiar Carly in their college careers. for it is here that they come I to pay their tuition and other fees. This building is also the home of the busiest and most important people on the UC campus. Here i are the offices of the president, public relations di- rector. and alumni. as well as scholarship i; headquarters, and the athletic thcff. aiI filled W with busy administrators of UC. THE UNION . . . THE llUB OF UNIVERSITY The Student Union Building is always busy early in the morning until late at night. with students eating. playing cards or relaxing. attending meetings. or meeting friends, and on weekends with t t movies and dances. The Old Tech Building , t which faces it is the home of the guoIogy majors t and of many cases of rocks and fossils. Equipment :- T for weather prediction is also housed here. Between these two is the always locked Tanners Research Building where graduate students and Others Spend their time in researfhv The lawn between these make: an excellent place for relaxing in the spring. The Applied Arts students are proud of their new Alms Building with which none of the architecture students can fmd any fault. With the new bond issue. passed last fall. they are looking forward to the wings to be added to their building in the near future so that they can hold all of their classes there. It is often said that the classes held in thc PhysiCS Building I are the most difiicult and the hardest to understand on campus.
