UC students had been eagerly watching and supervising the con, Struction of their new Fteldhouse on Clifton Avenue. XVhen the building was fmally done. and the time came for its dedication. they were more than sadshed edlh ks bright.spactous interior. Basketball games found the heldhouse filled with students and friends. In the spring. they had another chance to supervisee . this time for the Iandscaping in front of the bquing. As gra$ and shrubs were planted it was evident that the large, modern buiIding was going to he .1 place to point on: to campus visitors in future years. Next to the heldhouse. the men's dorm. French Hall. is another beautiful and modern building. The men who like in the dorm are its best press agents. and love teHing about theirlibrary. snack bar and lounges. Memorial Dorm for women is an older building but its residents enjoy the home- like atmosphere and many comforts of living there. After a long day of .. studying or working. the dorms are a pleasant place to come home to. HOME WAS NEVER LIKE FRENCH DORM! IIC PROUDLY Page I2
