They supervise 'l'he bumming room by plan- ning lhe exhibifions of sludenl work. One of 'lhe mosl unusual of lhese exhibilions was lhe one presenled by lhe landscape arcl1il'ec'l's who surprised everyone by bringing lhe cul- doors in, and having a lovely display of chry- sanlhemums, olher fall flowers, and shrubbery. S+an Herman, presidenl, in coniunclion wilh officers Jean Runclc, Joan Kreigel, and Jack Mueller, meel' on 'lhe firsl Thursday of every monlh lo lay plans for lhe Freshman Mixer, Egg Nog Parly, and Beaux Arls Ball. Sevenfh week comes all 'loo soon wi+h 'lhe 'lradilional flusler, scurrying, and all nighl work sessions, and swamps 'lhe poor franiic soul who muH'ers mournfully, l can'+ gel a design. This a+mosphere, 'lhrough fhe guidance of i'I's professors and Dean Pickering, is full of fun, inspiralion and ambi+ion.
