From fhaf fime unfil he gradu- afes he will probably have many occasions fo profif from fhe Dean's knowledge and vasf experience. As an advisor for Sfudenf Council, Infer-Frafernify Council, and fhe Union, fhe Dean performs his official fasks well. To add fo fhe dufies of fhis busy faculfy member, he was recenf- ly elecfecl Presidenf of fhe Associafion of College Honor Sociefies, in adclifion fo being fhe Nafional Secrefary of Omicron Delfa Kappa. The Dean's office is fhe cenfer for many school acfivifies and ifs influence is felf by every sfudenf on campus. DEAN LILLIAN M. JOHNSON Dean Lillian M. Johnson, our Dean of Women, is a friendly person wifh a smile and a kind word for all. Even fhough busy wifh her mulfiple dufies, such as advi- ser fo fhe Sfuclenf Council, Junior Advisers, Women's lnfer-Dorm Council, and Women's Senafe, she always finds fime fo fallc wifh a sfudenf over any social or aca- demic problem. She fakes a genuine inferesf in fhe sfuclenfs, giving affenfion fo fheir problems and helpful advice when needed. Each woman af fhe universify is well known by fhe members of our dean's sfaff. Dean Johnson is an undersfanding person who makes our life af UC as profifable and enioyable as she possibly can. Page 27

They supervise 'l'he bumming room by plan- ning lhe exhibifions of sludenl work. One of 'lhe mosl unusual of lhese exhibilions was lhe one presenled by lhe landscape arcl1il'ec'l's who surprised everyone by bringing lhe cul- doors in, and having a lovely display of chry- sanlhemums, olher fall flowers, and shrubbery.
