His brighl' smile, no ma'H'er how busy he was, helped make UC a warmer, 'friendlier place. We recognized him as a man well-equipped +o do a good job, for among his many al'- 'lribufes are his greai educaiional powers, his business abiliiy, and his quali+ies of leadership. He is a pracfical co-ordina+or of human needs, and his adep'l'ness in handling civic ma'H'ers as well as lhose of faculiy, sfudenfs, and alumni has long been admired. His office in +he Adminis- +ra+ion Building may well be called lhe mosl' imporlanl' room on campus.
