Wilson Audiforium fairly resounded wiTh moans of all This and Time budgefs Tool as The freshmen goT Togefher aT Their TTrsT OrienTaTion program. Confused and bemused, They were walked all around campus To The Tune of kindly words from The fafherly OrienTaTion Board. A welcome from Presidenf Walfers opened The session in Wilson which followed. The day had iusf sTarTed, however, for They had To go Through page affer page of Those all-Too-curious Tesfs which do Their besT To fiT a square peg inTo a round hole by poking psychologically aT innermosT Thoughfs. Thaf affernoon, programs by The Junior Advisers and Men's Senafe were offered, and Then They were rushed To a meefing wiTh Their respecfive Tribunals. The All-Universify orienTaTion was closed by The annual Freshmen open house, wiTh music, dancing, food, enTerTainmenT, and a good Time for all. In addifion To This complefe program, The ouT-of-Town sfudenfs had The opporTuniTy To Tour The ciTy on an open-air bus. The Freshman Guidebook ialled off The press and The new classmen were given a sneak preview of college life and acTiviTies. All The above work is done by OrienTaTion Board. PersonaliTy plus beamed from Their smiling faces as They gave ouT helpful advice and efficienf informafion To These con- fused new members of campus sociefy. These aforemenTioned guide books also direcf upperclassmen around The old place, afTer a Terrific summer vacafion has some whaT befud- dled The cerebrum. Then afTer The Chrisfmas holidays, whaT wiTh seasoned campus-TroTTers again seeming a liTTle perplexed, and anofher influx of freshmen To be Taken care of, OrienTaTion Board finds iTself once more indusfriously refurning losT sheep To The fold.
