Greef- ings were shoufed fo roommafes amid fhe claffer Books! and banging of indusfrious workers who were fear- ing down fhe walls. Secfion F girls began fo com- X plain fhal' fheir hoarse-voiced friends from across fhe way had ulferior mofives for visifing fhem so offen. lnfer-Dorm immediafely gof fhings under- ke way by planning an ouf-of-fowners' picnic, and affer fhal' we all fell' more or less af home. Typical dorm life began fhe firsf nighf wifh fhrow- fogefher parfies. Everybody fhrew in whaf food she had, and we afe. lf was amazing fhaf fhe conglomerafion of food didn'+ keep us awake! Thaf firsf nighf was one confinuous in'l'roducfion parl'y . Everyone infroduced everyone else, and before fhe nighf ended we became one big happy family, knowing 'lhe froubles of 'lhis one and fhe luck of 'lhaf one. We were informed of fhings fo look forward fo in fhe fufure: fhe various dorm parfies, fhe Chrisfmas formal and fhe dorm banquef. Speaking for myself, as l climbed info my bunk fhaf nighf, my sfomach was full, my mind filled wifh pleasanf fhoughfs and l felf quife af home.
